ENGLISH VERSIÓN BELLOW THE SPANISH VERSION
Si alguien se toma la molestia de leer este blog sabrá que hace dos semanas que no publico mi normal entrada semanal, pero se ha debido a que estaba preparando otros trabajos (teatrales, por lo que no me han acarreado cargos de conciencia, pero algo de apuro con mis lectores estoy pasando) y los he dejado huérfano de las aventuras de Lope de Vega, puesto que, desafortunadamente, yo no soy como él: “el Monstruo de la Naturaleza” y no me da tiempo a llegar a todo. El próximo fin de semana continuaremos con aquel monográfico y espero que los que lo están disfrutando continúen haciéndolo y los que no; que empiecen a hacerlo.
Los que siguen mis paginas de facebook sabrán de qué les hablo, cuando digo lo de los otros trabajos teatrales, y a los que no, aquí les dejo mis disculpas con esa info del viernes 14 de octubre de 2022:
Cuando las cosas echan a andar; andan: después de haber empezado a dirigir la obra “The Abbey” para el Club Universitario “Alles is Drama” ( primera vez que dirijo en inglés); hoy, mi primera Masterclass, también en inglés, para los alumnos de Artes Aplicadas en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Maastricht. 6 horas de teoría y práctica sobre: Neocolonialismo y Teatro. Tomando como punto de partida mi obra teatral: “Shaneetay”. Una obra que, basada en los ritos y la mitología de la tribu indígena llamada Wayuu (de la que llevo algo de sangre) y con una estructura similar a la de las primigenias tragedias griegas; critica la terrible situación que sufren los indígenas, por el sometimiento que soportan de la multinacional Morrison Knudsen y de los sucesivos gobiernos colombianos. NOS VEMOS LA PRÓXIMA SEMANA Y SEGUIREMOS CON EL MONOGRÁFICO SOBRE LOPE DE VEGA: EL VERDADERO “MONSTRUO DE LA NATURALEZA”
If anyone takes the trouble to read this blog, they will know that I have not published my normal weekly post for two weeks. Next weekend we will continue with that monograph and I hope that those who are enjoying it will continue to do so and those who are not; that they will start doing to enjoy.

When things start walking; they walk: after I having started to direct the play «The Abbey» for the University Club «Alles is Drama» (for the first time I conduct in English); today, my first Masterclass, also in English, for students of Applied Arts at the School of Fine Arts in Maastricht. 6 hours of theory and practice on: Neocolonialism and Theater. Taking as a starting point my play: «Shaneetay». A work that, based on the rites and mythology of the indigenous tribe called Wayuu (from which I carry some blood) and with a structure similar to that of the primitive Greek tragedies; criticizes the terrible situation suffered by the indigenous people, for the subjugation they endure from the multinational Morrison Knudsen and the successive Colombian governments. Thanks to the students and thanks to Diederik Honing, the titular professor of the subject «Art and Neocolonialisms”
